Nouveau Nail Academy training Suite is based in the Holiday Inn at Manchester Airport. Manchester Airport has excellent transport links to all major cities, with major rail bus and coach links as well as by air.
Our senior tutor Amanda has spent many years acquiring her skills and knowledge attending colleges and training centres throughout the UK. She has her NVQ assessor awards A1 & V1 (these have replaced the older assessor awards D32, D33 & D34). Amanda is qualified in all the subjects she teaches and is very experienced in teaching in Further Education.

Where
and When
Many
of our courses are held at our training centre in the Holiday Inn, Manchester Airport Cheshire (England) with the Nail Technician
Course usually being held on a Saturday or Sunday. The course
times are 10:00am to around 5:00pm on both days.
Our training centre is very close to Manchester Airport which has direct links to all major cities. If traveling by car there is free secure parking directly outside.
There is excellent accommodation at affordable prices. We also visit other venues throughout the UK with the
Nail Technician Course depending upon demand.

Qualification
and Insurance
All our tutors are full members of the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists.
On completion of the Gel and Acrylic Nail Technician Diploma you will be able to gain insurance and become a member of The International Nail Association. You are completely covered to start your own business.

Your
Tutor
Amanda, your course tutor, is a fully qualified nail technician and a recognized Nouveau Nail instructor. AStech Nails is also an accredited Nouveau Nail Academy. All Amanda’s qualification are up-to-date and she has over 14 years experience teaching and working in the beauty industry.
Amanda has been assessing NVQ courses for many years and holds the A1 and V1 assessor awards which have replaced the previous D32, D33, D34 awards. Amanda has an excellent reputation in teaching adults, with many learners returning to learn other courses. The training is provided in a relaxed and friendly environment and all learners get individual attention. All students complete an end of course evaluation form. Please see our Feedback page.
Amanda has acquired her knowledge and skills over many years attending Colleges and Training Academies. She is qualified as a tutor to a very high standard and is very proud of her teaching qualification, the Certificate in Education.
The classes are deliberately kept small, with at least one tutor to every five learners, this allows the tutors to give everyone individual attention. Learners work in pairs practicing on each other so as to accelerate the learning process.
Amanda is available 7 days a week for any advise and guidance you may require.

Content
Many of our learners have little or no previous knowledge of any nail treatments.
We at AStech Nails are mainly concerned with the practical side of the course, so as to ensure all aspects are covered and understood by our learners.
Our learners are taught in small classes or as individuals and we provide all theory and step-by-step instructions in our training manual.
On completion of the course the potential earnings as a Nail technician are:
UV Acrylic Nail extensions per treatment completed in 1 hour, average price between £25 - £35, potential income £23 - £28 per hour.
AStech Nails provide excellent advice and guidance before, during and after your course to help and support you in a successful career.
Learners are advised to read and study their course manual at home, to ensure that all information has been understood.

Nouveau Nail Acrylic
Nail System
We teach the latest Nouveau Nail UV Acrylic system which is well known and very popular throughout Europe and the United States. All our products are of the highest, professional quality. The Nouveau Nail UV acrylic system is easy to apply, odourless and self-leveling requiring no drills, just a hand file to complete. Once applied correctly, the UV acrylic will not cause any harm to your client’s natural nails.
We recommend that you practice on friends and family until your application time is down to between 1 - 11/2 hours this is a reasonable time for a qualified nail technician.

As we are a private independently accredited training academy we do not close in the evenings or at weekends like colleges and other training providers, so you are able to contact us at anytime via phone or e-mail to discuss any issues or problems that you may have.
Our learners are provided with guides to setting up their own business, whether it is in a salon or as a mobile nail technician.
